The empty space where the pear tree used to be is no longer an empty space. Our friend Rich brought a big Crape Myrtle and a palm tree home for us from a job site he was working at. We don't know what color the Crape Myrtle is & we don't know what kinda Palm we have, but I think that adds to the fun of it. They were both cut back hard for the ride home, but they'll come back just fine in the spring. Ginger supervised the digging & planting of course while running around the front yard.
The last weekend in August we went to St Cat's with friends & had to outrun a crazy storm that rolled in - got some great pictures of the sky as the weather surrounded us - yeah we got a little wet, but we were at the beach anyway, so did it really matter????
