On Sunday, the Laurel Grove bikers got together in town for a Poker Run. The ride raised over $12K for the victims & families of the Imperial Sugar Refinery. It was a pretty ugly day, overcast and chilly - definitely a chaps ride. Of course, I didn't realize how chilly it was til we were on our way & I was sans chaps. It was great to see so many bikers out for the ride even though the weather was ugly, but I think if there's a ride, the bikers will come. And no,,,I didn't ride my own bike.. still getting highway and traffic practice. This was too long of a ride - and the chance of rain wasn't something frank was taking a chance with. Maybe next ride. I'm determined!!

The Laurel Grovers -- One Motley Crew
On Sunday, the Laurel Grove bikers got together in town for a Poker Run. The ride raised over $12K for the victims & families of the Imperial Sugar Refinery. It was a pretty ugly day, overcast and chilly - definitely a chaps ride. Of course, I didn't realize how chilly it was til we were on our way & I was sans chaps.
