Here comes the rain

Today is the start of my vacation ! YAY!! Had planned on running with the Roadies, but temps in the shade on the back porch were pushing 100 degrees, so I decided running at 4 in the afternoon for 7 or so miles wasn't gonna be a part of my game plan. Instead, I folded some laundry and took the dog for a walk. Next was going to be a jump in the pool & some reading, but mother nature and her humidity had their own plans for the afternoon. Of course the clouds slowly rolled in & now I'm sitting on the front porch watching the rain & lightning. At least the air temperature has dropped a bit. The rain always does that - sometimes over 10 degrees. It's amazing. Ginger has to be next to me or she sits at the window and cries at me - poor thing. She's kinda stressing over the loud thunder now - it's pretty loud...that nasty crackly kind. woweee BIG lightning bolt across the street! Okay,,,time to shut down & just enjoy the show ;)
